Petting Zoo

Lionels petting zoo is unique to the area. It is more popular in the warmer months, therefore the petting zoo is open to the general public from May to November. January to the end of April visitations are available by appointment only.

Some of the animals that can be seen or touched are sheep, goats, pigs, cow, donkeys ponies, deer, llama, alpaca, rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, pigeons, pheasants, peacocks, and a various times throughout the year, many will have babies by their side. Our animals are curious and friendly and are a big hit with kids of all ages.

The petting zoo is open to the general public at no cost, but donations are greatly appreciated, and is made available, as an added feature, to our kid’s parties and programs that are booked on the farm.

The petting zoo is included in kids group tours (Beavers, Cubs, Family, School Groups etc.) for educational purposes. The petting zoo is a great way for kids to learn about animals in a fun filled relaxed atmosphere. Once you’ve experienced it you will want to stop by again and again.

The petting zoo is a clean and neat facility.  We ask that you please keep it that way by putting all garbage in the garbage bins that are provided.
